Welcome to DTDC Packers and Movers. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Definitions

• "Company," "we," "us," "our" refers to DTDC Packers and Movers.
• "Customer," "you," "your" refers to the individual or entity using our services.
• "Services" includes packing, loading, transportation, unloading, unpacking, vehicle transport, and any related relocation services.
• "Contract" means the agreement between the Company and the Customer for the provision of Services.

3. Booking and Quotations

• All quotations provided by the Company are estimates based on the information supplied by the Customer. Actual charges may vary based on the final volume, weight, distance, and any additional services requested.
• Quotations are valid for 15 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.
• A booking is confirmed only when the Customer accepts the quotation and makes the required payment (deposit or full advance) as per the terms of the quote.
• We reserve the right to revise the quote if there are changes in the scope of work or if the actual items to be moved differ from the list provided.

4. Payments and Deposits

• An advance payment (typically 50% of the estimated total) is required to confirm your booking.
• The balance payment must be made on or before the delivery date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash (subject to limits).
• Any additional charges incurred (e.g., excess distance, extra stops, waiting time) will be communicated and must be paid before final delivery.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• If you cancel your booking at least 7 days before the scheduled move date, you will receive a full refund of the advance payment.
• If you cancel between 3 to 6 days before the move, 50% of the advance payment will be refunded.
• If you cancel less than 48 hours before the move, no refund will be provided.
• If the Company cancels the booking due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

6. Customer Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and complete information about the items to be moved, including any hazardous or prohibited items.
• You must ensure clear access for our team at both the pickup and delivery locations.
• You must be present or designate an authorized representative at both ends of the move.
• You are responsible for securing necessary parking permits and permissions if required.
• You must declare any valuable items (e.g., jewellery, cash, securities) that you wish to move separately, as these are not covered under standard liability.

7. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being transported:

• Explosives, flammable liquids, gases, or any hazardous materials.
• Weapons, ammunition, or firearms.
• Illegal drugs, narcotics, or contraband.
• Perishable food items, plants, or animals (unless pre‑arranged).
• Any items prohibited by law or local regulations.

If such items are discovered, they will be removed, and the Company reserves the right to terminate the contract without refund.

8. Liability and Insurance

• The Company provides a basic level of liability for loss or damage caused by our negligence during transit.
• We strongly recommend that you purchase additional transit insurance for valuable or fragile items. We can assist you in arranging insurance at an additional cost.
• Any claim for damage or loss must be reported in writing within 7 days of delivery, supported by evidence (photos, videos, receipts).
• The Company's total liability will not exceed the agreed contracted value of the service, or the actual value of the damaged item(s), whichever is lower.

9. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, strikes, government actions, or severe weather conditions. In such cases, we will try to reschedule the move at no extra cost.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of DTDC Packers and Movers or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.

12. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be posted on this page with the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
